Sometimes, troubleshooting IBM Notes user problems is not easy. Support departments usually listen to strange and fantasctic IBM Notes behaviours.
There's a difference between what the user says that has happened and what has really happened. :-)
To help increasing details in IBM Notes logging, we can add
to the IBM Notes notes.ini file, either manually or through a Desktop policy settings document.
From now on, all the status bar messages will be copied to the local log.nsf file.
